Meeting customers' needs with our comprehensive strengths

We have been a pioneer in water infrastructure in Japan since 1931, when we delivered the first made-in-Japan rapid filtration device for water supply systems. We tirelessly develop technologies/products and provide services to support people's lives and the environment. With the technology and know-how that we have developed over many years and our wide range of networks, we are able to provide the best solution for each customer's needs. This is our advantage as a total solution provider.

Our proprietary ICT service "Swing Water Net”

Our proprietary operations & maintenance + management support ICT Service

Our on-site engineers carefully "listen" to understand what the water and equipment are "saying" during daily inspections. In collaboration with Swing AМ Corp. and Swing Engineering Corp., this data is inputted into the Swing Water Net and is used for water operation plans, renewal plans, and repair plans.
This ICT service is also used for sharing know-how and transmitting skills, such as abnormality/failure handling and operating procedure manuals.

Expanding our network

In collaboration with DK Corporation (Daiichi Kankyo Corporation), we provide total support, including the collection of fees.

Roles and responsibilities of private companies

In Japan, the aging of water infrastructure built during the era of high economic growth has been a serious social problem. The conventional way of thinking, which focuses on construction and dissemination, is making it difficult to sustain the functions of infrastructure in the future. Furthermore, as the environment surrounding the water industry is changing drastically, such as the declining population and the issue of technology succession, we are moving into an era of maintenance, updating, management, and long-term business operations.

In the water service sector, the Water Supply Act was revised in 2002 to allow private companies to take on the responsibility of managing, operating, and maintaining water facilities, which were mainly carried out by municipalities. The partial revision of the Act in 2019 also promoted public-private partnerships. Opportunities for private companies to enter the sewage business have also increased, as demonstrated by the introduction of the Designated Manager System. Participation of private companies in these fields has significantly changed the environment of the water infrastructure business. In order to solve the challenges we face and ensure the sustainable growth of water infrastructure in a safe and secure manner, it is important to combine the experience and knowledge of the public sector with the management know-how and technology of the private sector, and the roles and responsibilities of the private sector are expected to grow ever larger.

We will harness our "comprehensive strengths" to realize a sustainable society.
