What is the SDGs?

The SDGs stands for the "Sustainable Development Goals". As the successor to the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) established in 2001, the SDGs are the goals set out by the 193 member countries of the United Nations to be achieved in the 15 years from 2016 to 2030, as stated in "the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development" adopted at the United Nations Summit in September 2015.
