Swing Corp. receives order for large-scale yen-loan project for construction of waterworks in Vietnam

Swing Corporation (President: Shigeo Mizutani, Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo) signed a construction contract for the improvement of water supply facilities in Vinh Phuc Province, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, provided as part of a yen loan project "Vinh Phuc Province Investment Climate Improvement Project," supported by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

Since our entry to the Vietnamese market in the 1990s, we have so far received orders for and delivered construction works of water supply and sewage systems under the yen loan projects mainly for large cities such as Hanoi, the country’s capital and Ho Chi Minh City; making this contract the sixth won in Vietnam.

In this contract, we were highly rated for proposing engineering and after-delivery support arrangements based on the local needs that reflect the customer's desire, taking advantage of our local affiliate (Swing Water Vietnam Corporation), as well as for our rich construction work track record in the field of the country’s water infrastructure. Vietnam is one of the top priority countries in our overseas marketing strategy, and going forward, more of the water supply and sewage development projects are expected to be planned that utilize various JICA schemes. We will continue to work proactively for these opportunities, drawing on our successful experience.

Location	Vinh Yen city and adjacent areas in Vinh Phuc Province, the Socialist Republic of Vietnam * The province is situated approx. 40 km north-west from Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, is one of the eight provinces that compose the country's northern key economic zone, and is home to one of Japan's leading automaker’s production base.
Project objective	To improve socio-economic infrastructure around Vinh Phuc’s industrial areas, enhance investment in the province, and thereby stimulate economic activities and improve the economic development of the greater Hanoi Metropolitan area.
